Leon County will host “Countdown at Cascades,” a free, family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration at the Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.
Presented by Tallahassee Ford with support from VyStar Credit Union, the event will feature live performances from Lili Forbes and the Pharaohs of Funk and Eddie 9V, along with two fireworks displays at 7:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
The evening will also include the final countdown to the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Tallahassee 2026, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at Apalachee Regional Park.
The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with Lili Forbes and her 15-piece band, the Pharaohs of Funk. The band will perform a mix of funk and Caribbean-influenced music.
The first fireworks display is set for 7:45 p.m., followed by Eddie 9V at 8:30 p.m. The Georgia-born guitarist and songwriter will perform a mix of Southern soul, blues, rock and funk. The second fireworks display at 9:45 p.m. will close the night.
