Trout Creek Senior Center has a new look, thanks to a county-funded upgrade that includes new floors, new paint and a refreshed library area with clean new bookshelves and a cozy feel, according to Jessica Curry, program coordinator for Trout Creek Senior Center.

The renovation benefits not only the seniors who use the center regularly, but also community members who rent the building for weekend events such as weddings, bridal showers and baby showers, Curry said.

With the new look complete, the center is hoping to draw in more local seniors to enjoy its coffee, games and friendly meet-and-greets, Curry said. Fresh coffee and snacks are available for anyone who wants to stop by, check out the space or stay and spend the day.

Trout Creek Senior Center is located at 6795 Collier Road, Orangedale. For more information, call Jessica Curry at 904 209 3658.
