The Office of State Attorney R.J. Larizza, who leads Florida’s 7th Judicial Circuit covering Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns and Putnam counties, is launching a new podcast, according to Haley Harrison, the office’s public information officer and community engagement specialist.

Larizza said the whole office will take part in the podcast, along with guests brought in from partner organizations such as local school districts involved in the office’s youth education initiatives.

“The whole office will be involved,” Larizza told the Daytona Beach News-Journal. “We’re going to bring folks in to chat from school districts, from the initiatives we’re doing. We want to educate the public and help prevent some crimes, let folks know there are consequences for the things you do. And then get people in the community to tell us how they feel about how we’re doing.”

“I’m really excited,” Larizza said. “I think it’s going to be a great success, and we’re about to kick it off.”
