This month marks a new chapter for our community as the inaugural issue of Nassau NewsLine hits mailboxes across the island and the county. We are proud to introduce the new voice of local news and the most useful source of information for Nassau County, Florida.
With this launch, we are making history. We printed and distributed copies to 10,000 households for our very first edition, making Nassau NewsLine the largest newspaper in Nassau County on day one.
Our mission is simple but ambitious: to inspire and inform our readers with fresh editorial features, unbiased community news and valuable advertising from the businesses that drive our local economy. We believe that a strong community relies on a shared understanding of the issues that matter, from City Hall to the scoreboard.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of a dedicated team. I want to personally applaud Kate Kimmel, Beth Jones, Penny Glackin, Cass, Emily Whitehead, Haley Cook, Colleen Sperry and our publisher, Mark Pettus, for their hard work, talent and belief in this vision.
