On Thursday, Jan. 22, the Mandarin Women’s Club is pleased to welcome Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Richard Hendley at its luncheon held at the Ramada Inn in Mandarin, 3130 Hartley Road.
Hendley will discuss ways to protect against identity theft and how to secure homes. He will also touch on other criminal activity. There will be a question-and-answer session after the presentation, so attendees should come prepared with questions about safety concerns.
Last month, members and spouses celebrated the holiday season with a gourmet dinner at HarborChase of Mandarin.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and reservations for the luncheon are required. The cost is $25 and checks must be received by Monday, Jan. 12. To make reservations and obtain payment instructions, call Barbara at 904-612-6494 or email her at Barbara.metallo@outlook.com.
