A: The status is that it\u2019s so early that the process of this being evaluated by staff, the PZA and finally the Board of County Commissioners has not even begun. We commissioners are the last ones to see it and an application typically takes between six months and a year before it gets to the Board of County Commissioners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: I have been in regular contact with people on Fruit Cove Road. I was invited into one of their homes to hear their concerns and it was packed with 70 \u2013 80 people. I answered questions, discussed the process, and listened to concerns for more than two hours one evening. We talked about compatibility and how that is something I\u2019m allowed to consider when an application comes before the board. We also discussed the history and unique nature of the neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: Yes, I attended that meeting at Geneva with about 300 other people. I listened to the presentation and answered some questions in a one-on-one setting as people filed out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: As I understand it, some people have asked RISE and they have not committed to any future meetings at this point. We\u2019re just waiting to see what they [RISE] do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A: Yes, I am aware of this and I believe it will come before the Board of County Commissioners before the end of the year. I\u2019m very familiar with the background of the rowing club when they were in Mandarin and I\u2019ve had meetings with neighbors on Wentworth Avenue and am aware of their concerns.
