This program will allow students to learn the vital roles the clerk\u2019s office provides to residents by maintaining official records, collecting and distributing county funds, and many other important functions performed to assist the judiciary in court proceedings. There is both a paid and volunteer internship program and a commitment of at least four weeks is required, though you may commit to a full semester if desired. For more information and to apply to the program, you can call (904) 819-3605 or email the Human Resources Department at cochumanresources@stjohnsclerk.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: Do you have an update on the mask policy for your office?<\/strong><br>A: The Clerk\u2019s Office falls under Supreme Court jurisdiction and health screenings and masks are no longer required to access the courthouse for business; however, if you are appearing for a court hearing, a mask is required in the courtroom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Q: Do you have anything else to share with northern St. Johns County readers?<\/strong><br>A: Our office currently has various full-time positions open.
