David Naples grew up in the tri-state area of Westtown, N.Y. before moving to St. Augustine in 2009. He and his wife, Kaley, met while living in the same condominium complex and they married in 2016. David and Kaley Naples are proud to call the MuraBella neighborhood home. <\/span><\/p>\n

David Naples earned his degree in political science from SUNY Cortland University in New York, and later completed law school at the Florida Coastal School of Law. Naples has been practicing for five years in St. Johns County, and is passionate about helping the community through his firm, Naples and Spence, on State Road 16. <\/span><\/p>\n

David and Kaley Naples have three rescue dogs that keep them busy and they enjoy getting to know their neighbors in Mura Bella and the surrounding areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. What do you enjoy most about living in St. Augustine?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I just love the town itself. The historical aspect is interesting and being near the beach is a nice perk, but most of all, everyone is so nice here. I think if you live somewhere where the people are pleasant, then you are happier in general and have a better quality of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

    1. What inspired you to have a career in law?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In college, I did really well in all of my political science classes and my professor gently pushed me in the direction of law. <\/span><\/p>\n

      1. What area of law do you enjoy most and why?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        I have a general practice where I get to do a variety of cases, but I probably enjoy the estate planning the most. Oftentimes, estate planning is a difficult and touchy subject, but when I get people to open up, they end up feeling better and that is very rewarding. I\u2019m happy to help them feel like a load has been lifted off their back. <\/span><\/p>\n

        1. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          My wife and I enjoy landscaping. Our house was a new build, so we\u2019ve planted trees and enjoyed making the yard nice. We also participate in a lot of 5K races around the area that benefit different local organizations. We volunteer at S.A.F.E Pet Rescue. I do pro bono work in representing them as their corporate counsel. We donate a lot of time walking and helping out with the dogs.<\/span><\/p>\n

          1. What is one thing most people don\u2019t know about you?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            I think most people think of someone in my field as being more aggressive, but I\u2019m actually very laid back. <\/span><\/p>\n
