{"id":1869,"date":"2016-07-06T13:33:30","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T17:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/floridanewsline.com\/Clone2\/?p=1869"},"modified":"2016-07-06T13:33:45","modified_gmt":"2016-07-06T17:33:45","slug":"independence-day-celebrated-world-golf-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/floridanewsline.com\/Clone2\/creekline-st-johns\/independence-day-celebrated-world-golf-village\/","title":{"rendered":"Independence Day celebrated at World Golf Village"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><em>By Shelley Howard<\/em><br \/>\n<em>mail@floridanewsline.com<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On July 3, St. Johns County&#8217;s World Golf Village celebrated Independence Day with traditional music, food, bounce house fun and fireworks.<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To kick off the festivities, the IMax theater hosted the new movie, &#8220;The Legend of Tarzan,&#8221; for those who did not want to brave the heat.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Outside, families could be seen carrying chairs and blankets onto the grass with coolers packed with food and drinks to share while music filled the air. \u00a0Footballs were tossed, glow wands and necklaces swayed back and forth and sparklers were lit to pass the time.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>At approximately <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">9:20 p.m.<\/span><\/span>, a hushed silence rolled over the crowd as the first hints of blazing color lit up the night sky.
