Ocean Palms Elementary School named this year’s Teacher of the Year, Faie Pellegrino, and School Related Employee of the Year, Vicki Morales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“They bring such dedication, joy and a true team spirit to everything they do,” said Tiffany Cantwell, principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pellegrino, the school’s guidance counselor, has been at Ocean Palms since 2017. She works tirelessly with teachers, families and staff to help students develop socially, academically and emotionally. She has assisted with many programs throughout her time at the school, including working with the fifth-grade student ambassadors, overseeing the school’s Otters in Need Program and serving as the School Advisory Council chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Morales, registrar and data operator, has been the welcoming face of Ocean Palms since 1997. She is often the first person new families meet, welcoming them with open arms and setting them on a path of success. Due to her teamwork mentality, she often pitches in to help wherever needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
