Sweetpotato Summer Slushie<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 cup cooked, mashed North Carolina Sweetpotatoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 cup pineapple juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/2 cup orange juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/4 cup lemon juice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/4 cup coconut milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2-3 tablespoons simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 cups crushed ice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 ounces spiced rum, coconut rum or bourbon (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
pineapple slices or orange wedges, for garnish (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In blender, blend sweetpotatoes, pineapple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, coconut milk, simple syrup or honey, vanilla extract and ice until smooth and slushy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pour into glasses and serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For alcoholic version: Add spiced rum, coconut rum or bourbon after blending. Pulse in blender or stir after blending for layered effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
