<\/strong>A: There\u2019s a proposal for 62 Pulte homes, which are consistent with the area, to be built off Aladdin Road that will be headed for the Planning Commission in late February. We did hold a community meeting a few months ago and the applicants have addressed as many of the concerns raised at that meeting as they feel they can. The application will be presented to the Land Use and Zoning (LUZ) Committee on March 4 and this would be the place for people to be if they have an opinion about this proposed project. It will come before the full City Council the following week as a quasi-judicial matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>A: These are still in the development state and are not scheduled for public hearing until March 11. The idea behind these bills is to introduce diversity of housing (such as duplexes and triplexes) in certain areas, but at this time, Mandarin is not included in the map. I like the idea of limited diversity in housing opportunities, but as far as these specific bills go, I\u2019m not yet informed enough to make a decision at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>A: The repaving of this road is finally all but completed after multiple years and multiple asks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>A: I just heard from JTA that they and their surveyors have forwarded their environmental report to the federal government (necessary because federal funding was secured for this work). We are planning a community meeting at the end of March to let people know what the surveyors have found to be the least impactful route for the sidewalk installation. Great care is being taken to preserve as many trees as possible, just as we did with the prior stretch of sidewalk.
